Try a sip of the best wines in Indiana! At the annual Indiana State Fair Wine & Spirits Competition, judges award the best wines and spirits throughout the Hoosier state. The winners were selected from over 30 unique businesses, submitting more than 140 entries across various categories. See the best wines and spirits the Hoosier State has to offer this year:

- Class 1 - White Vinifera - Vinland Reserve Sauvignon Blanc
- Class 2 - Red Vinifera - Two EE's Tonneau Chiosi Merlot
- Class 3 - White Hybrid Grape - Country Heritage La Crescent
- Class 4 - Red Hybrid – Acres Away 2024 Marquette
- Class 5 – American or Native Grape – Vinland Reserve Pink Catawba
- Class 6 - Dessert – Acres Away Artic Crisp

One of these multiple award winners, Shane Christ, owner of Acres Away Winery, had high praise for his products and other wineries in the area.
“It's always an honor to be recognized among Indiana’s finest,” said Shane. “Making high-quality wine is our top priority, which is why we work so hard growing the grapes ourselves. That's how we make it so special.”
He was also sure to show love to his fellow northern Indiana winemakers.
“If you look at all the top winners, most of us are up here in northeast Indiana. The wine industry in this corner of the state is top-notch, and I’m so proud of my colleagues,” Shane noted.
