Sandy beaches, a gorgeous lagoon, water park fun… in central Indiana? SKYLAKE Adventures opened with a splash in June 2026, offering all that and much more on the way.
Located just off U.S. 31 in Sheridan north of Westfield’s Grand Park Sports Complex, the expansive $50 million Hamilton County development focuses for now on a new six-acre lake that lends itself nicely to all sorts of water recreation. From leisurely sunbathing, swimming and sandcastle building to inflatable obstacle courses, kayaking and paddleboarding, SKYLAKE has an activity on tap to match every interest and energy level.
Claiming to be one of only two installations of its kind in the U.S., the X-Tower is a showy centerpiece that boasts high-adrenaline water slides and an opportunity to jump into the lake below from a height of 40 feet. Floating aqua cabanas provide a peaceful spot to relax for a minute between adventures, and the South Beach area is strictly 21+ for adults.
And the lakefront is only phase one. The mountain of dirt created by digging out the new lake will be put to use as a sledding/tubing hill intended to launch later this fall, and a high ropes course is also in the works.
The water park activities are scheduled to stay open through the summer season (weather-permitting), and the other new features still to come will establish SKYLAKE as a year-round destination. Group discounts and annual passes are available. For hours, rates, tickets and other information, visit skylakeindiana.com.
